I have another one that I am sleeping on which is the same. There is no smell. Mattress is very comfortable and is not hard like some reviews state. I also have another mattress like this but in King size which I have been sleeping on for 3 years and it is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. This is why I purchased the same brand in twin size. I bought 2 in twin, but decided I had no room to place a second twin bed. This is why I am selling one of them.
